Motorcycles, the core of what Turple Bros is all about, motorcycles and motorcycle accessories. From the start with old Harley surplus motorcycles, to the many brands they went through, Motorcycles has always been at the center of passion for the shop. Today we can proudly claim that we are North Americas oldest Honda dealer (since 1959) with great pride. We have had Suzuki Motorcycles for sale since 1988, We had the Can-Am motorcycles back in their hay day, and looks like we will have them again! In 2004 we picked up KTM and all the orange they had to offer, then in late 2019 we were offered Gasgas Motorcycles and are happy to have them. We have a showroom full of motorcycles for sale, and the passionate staff to back it up. |
Electric startConvenient and lightweight, the electric starter is a huge advantage if you need to restart the engine in the heat of battle. Like the rest of the bike, the lithium-ion battery is both super light and high performing, weighing less than half that of a conventional lead-acid battery. |
Bigger radiatorAnother way the CRF250R keeps its cool: a bigger radiator, with more fins that are angled for better airflow. |
Titanium fuel tankEvery gram counts on a bike in the 250 class, which is why the CRF250R has a titanium fuel tank. Light and strong, it’s also thin and engineered to help centralize fuel mass. |
Flat seat/tank junctionThe CRF250R’s flat seat/tank junction makes it easy to move forward and backward on the bike. |
Plenty of torqueMore torque at low revs means better drive out of corners, so the shape of the piston and connecting rod, as well as valve timing, is optimized for combustion consistency and thereby exhaust efficiency at lower revs. The bridged-box design of the piston uses a reinforcing structure between the skirt and the wrist-pin bosses that helps enable a high redline. Big torque down low, huge power up top. A winning formula. |
Durable clutchThe CRF250R’s clutch is big on durability and rigidity. Sporting a total of nine clutch plates and generous amount of springs in the damper chamber, as well as plenty of lubrication, the clutch strength and performance are race-worthy and ready to rock. |
Large airboxThe CRF250R features an air-cleaner element with plenty of surface area and volume. More air equals more power, especially in the midrange. In addition, we’ve made it easier to service the air filter too. |
Single mufflerThe single muffler exhaust uses a pressed-alloy design for better rider ergonomics and lighter weight. The CRF250R naturally uses a single-pipe header. It routes close to the center of the bike, and its light overall construction helps improve weight distribution. |
Downdraft intake and exhaustThe combination of 79 mm bore and short 50.9 mm stroke produces a high-revving engine with plenty of room for large titanium valves. The engine breathes and revs — the keys to making power. As well, the DOHC cylinder-head design let our engineers straighten out the intake and exhaust tracts to improve power and response. The intake is short and just about arrow straight, and the exhaust flows efficiently too. You’ll experience serious power and throttle response. |
HRC Launch ControlHRC Launch Control: push the button to select the mode, hold the throttle open, release the clutch, and the bike will do the rest, launching you into the first turn with a big advantage. |
Engine Mode Select (EMS)This simple handlebar-mounted button lets you dial in engine power delivery character with a push of your thumb. Choose between Standard, Smooth, and Aggressive, depending on track conditions. |
Light frameTo match an impressive engine performance, Honda engineers built a frame to CRF450R-spec, resulting in a stable and light ride. |
Showa spring forkMounted in a triple clamp engineered to optimize rigidity, the 49 mm Showa fork has a slim shape but maintains its conventional spring design that helps prioritize front-suspension precision, handling, and feel. The 39 mm piston diameter and 25 mm rod diameter help to ensure a plush feel and supple action. |
Short swingarmThe short swingarm helps make it light, and also gives the bike solid rear-wheel traction — important considering how much power is on tap. The swingarm’s design focuses on stability and handling. |
Low rear shock mountWith its low rear shock mount on the frame, the CRF250R benefits from both a lower center of gravity (cg) as well as chassis stability. Our Pro-Link design lets us give the 2024 CRF250R 12.3 inches of suspension travel, along with a lightweight spring. All resulting in a plush, controlled ride. |
260 mm front brakeThe large front-brake disc measures a whopping 260 mm, giving you superior stopping power while also being easy to modulate. |
Black rimsThey may not help you go faster, but the black D.I.D® rims sure look good. |
