Whether in stop-and-go city traffic or on country roads, this bike delivers exhilaration and riding fun. No matter where you pull up to park, the retro appeal of the SV650XA is eye-catching with its stylish slotted headlight cowl, tuck-and-roll seat and blacked-out rider and pillion footrests. And on your favourite stretch of twisties, Suzuki’s V-Twin machine’s smooth power and agile handling make the SV650XA a thrill to ride.
STYLINGThe SV650XA exudes classic cafe racer good looks that grab you from the very start, tempting you to go for a ride. Once on the road, you and the machine become travelling partners, sharing a passion for performance and attracting attention wherever you go. |
Stylish Slotted Headlight CowlingThe round multi-reflector headlight is equipped with a stylish headlight cowling. Slots in the headlight sides are reminiscent of heritage racers, accentuating the SV650XA’s personality. |
OPTIONAL FOG LAMPSThe LED fog lamps match the stylish headlight cowling, highlighting the SV650XA’s intense character. The lamps feature high-brightness LED and superior light distribution characteristics. |
FUEL TANKThe tank’s emblem has been changed from the signature “S” mark to the SUZUKI logo. The design has a definite retro look. Additionally, the tank capacity has been increased from 13.8L to 14.5L. Combined with the SV650XA’s excellent fuel efficiency, this substantially extends your riding range. |
CLIP-ON HANDLEBARSClip-on handlebars encourage a sporty riding position, and hark back to the days of the original café racers. |

SUZUKI V-TWIN TECHNOLOGY
Beat: The pulsing caused by irregular firing intervals adds to the pleasure of the ride. |
DUAL SPARK TECHNOLOGYSuzuki’s Dual Spark Technology utilises two spark plugs per cylinder for precision ignition. The result is increased combustion efficiency, smoother power delivery, lower fuel consumption and lower emissions |
PISTONS AND RINGSIn order to further improve overall fuel efficiency and emissions control, the V-Twin engine adopts two innovations: resin coating on the piston skirt for minimised friction between the cylinder and piston, and a special L-shaped piston ring for enhanced sealing performance and blow-by gas reduction. |
LOW RPM ASSISTThe TI-ISC (Throttle body Integrated Idle Speed Control) has a Low RPM Assist control function. When moving off or riding at low engine rpm, the ECM activates the ISC system. By opening the ISC circuits, the engine rpm rises slightly. Normally, in launching the motorcycle, engine rpm drops when the clutch is engaged. Low RPM Assist helps the rider achieve a smoother launch operation in the low rpm range. This makes it easier to ride at low speed in stop-and-go traffic |
SUZUKI EASY START SYSTEMThe Suzuki Easy Start System engages the starter motor at a precisely timed preset interval to start the motorcycle with just a push of a button. ECM checks the status and disengages the starter motor immediately after starting. |
FRONT PRELOAD ADJUSTERFront forks are equipped with a preload Adjuster, allowing you to set suspension firmness for exactly the way you want to ride. |
SDTV - Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve SystemSuzuki Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) digital fuel-injection system. In SDTV induction system, each throttle body barrel has two butterfly valves, a primary valve controlled by the twist grip and a secondary valve controlled by the ECM based on engine rpm, gear selection and the position of the primary valve. The secondary butterfly valve opens and closes to maintain ideal intake air velocity, improving high combustion efficiency, thus resulting in a linear throttle response, increased low-to-mid range torque. |
SCEM - Suzuki Composite Electrochemical MaterialSuzuki Composite Electrochemical Material (SCEM) is Suzuki’s own nickel-silicon-carbide coating technique derived from racetrack experience. SCEM cylinders allow faster heat transfer and tighter piston-to-cylinder clearance, for superb durability and resistance to scuffing. |
ABS - Anti-Lock Braking SystemAn electrically controlled Antilock Brake System (ABS) that produces stable braking force under various road surface conditions. The system helps avoid wheel locking when there is a sudden change in road surface during braking or when an excessive braking force is applied. The system monitors wheel speed 50 times per wheel rotation and matches stopping power to available traction. * Depending on road surface conditions, such as wet, loose, or uneven roads, braking distance for an ABS equipped vehicle may be longer than for a vehicle not equipped with ABS. ABS cannot prevent wheel skidding caused by braking while cornering. Please drive carefully and do not overly rely on ABS. |
Easy Start SystemOn a normal motorcycle when starting the engine, the rider needs to press and hold the starter switch until the engine fires up. With the Suzuki Easy Start, all you need to do is one quick push of the starter switch, just like starting a modern car engine. The ECM recognizes the signals and keeps the starter motor working for a specified time. |
Low RPM AssistLow RPM Assist uses the ISC mechanism to help raise engine rpm slightly in launching and riding at low speed. This feature helps smoother operation when pulling away and when riding at slow speeds, this means it’s easier to pull away and easier to control the engine in stop-start traffic. |
